Who I Am

My name is Alex Morgan. I am the founder and primary editor of unblocked-games.cc, a platform dedicated to free browser-based games that work on school networks, work computers, Chromebooks, and just about any device with a modern web browser.

I started this site after spending years frustrated by how many decent browser games were blocked on school and office networks for no clear reason. The games themselves were harmless — simple HTML5 titles like platformers, sports games, and puzzle games — but standard network filters flagged them anyway. unblocked-games.cc was built to solve that problem directly.

"I did not set out to build a big platform. I just wanted a reliable place where people could play a decent game during a break without running into a blocked page. That is still the goal today."

My Background

Web Development

I have been working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript since the early days of browser gaming. My technical background gave me an understanding of how HTML5 games work under the hood — loading performance, cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness — which directly shaped how unblocked-games.cc was built and maintained.

Gaming Experience

I grew up playing browser games during school breaks long before "unblocked games" was a search term people typed into Google. Flash games, Java applets, early HTML5 experiments — I played a lot of them. That experience gives me a reasonably good sense of what makes a browser game worth recommending and what does not.

Content and Curation

Every game featured on unblocked-games.cc has been reviewed before being added to the collection. I check for performance on lower-end hardware, browser compatibility, mobile usability, and whether the game is actually fun to play rather than just technically functional. If a game does not hold up after a few sessions, it does not make the list.

What I Know About Unblocked Games

After years of running this platform, I have developed a fairly detailed understanding of the unblocked games space specifically — not just browser gaming in general.

  • School networks and Chromebooks: Most of our audience accesses games on Chromebooks through school or library networks. I test specifically for this environment, not just on a standard home connection with a high-end computer.
  • HTML5 game performance: Not all HTML5 games are equal. Some are well-optimized and load in seconds on a modest connection. Others are sluggish even on good hardware. I prioritize the former.
  • What players actually search for: Titles like Drift Hunters Unblocked, Basketball Stars Unblocked, OvO Unblocked, and similar games are not popular by accident. They combine accessible controls, replay value, and consistent browser performance — qualities that matter when you only have ten minutes during a break.
  • Safe and clean content: The platform is used by students of various ages. Every game goes through a basic content check before being listed. Nothing with inappropriate content, deceptive mechanics, or suspicious external links makes it onto the site.

How This Site Works

Game Selection

I review games individually before adding them. A game needs to load reliably, control well, and be genuinely worth someone's time before it gets listed. The collection grows steadily rather than rapidly because quality is more useful than volume when you are looking for something to play during a short break.

Content Writing

The descriptions, category pages, and editorial content on the site are written to be straightforward and honest. If a game is simple and casual, the description says so. If it has a learning curve, that is mentioned too. The goal is to help you find the right game quickly, not to oversell everything in the library.

Platform Maintenance

The site is checked regularly for broken games, slow loading titles, and outdated content. Browser games occasionally stop working as web standards change, and I remove or replace titles that no longer perform reliably. The aim is a collection that works consistently, not just a list that looks long.

A Note on the Content

Everything written on unblocked-games.cc — game descriptions, category pages, guides, and editorial content — reflects genuine first-hand experience with the games and the platform. I do not publish descriptions for games I have not tested, and I do not write recommendations based on what sounds good in theory.

The platform has been built gradually over several years based on real feedback from players, observed search behavior, and direct testing. It is not a scraped directory or an auto-generated list. Every page on the site has been reviewed by a person before it went live.
